You may think I’m talking about an exotic island, somewhere far away from Romania.
Actually, I’m talking about Gura Portitei, wich is only 300 km away from Bucharest. This piece of land in the Danube Delta, between Golovita Lake and the Black Sea, may give you enough reasons to become guests there.
The three-star “Eden” holiday complex, recently built there, is one where you might find absolute comfort. There are 3 villas with 33 modern rooms, each one with modern furniture, air conditioning and hot or cold water, at European standards, but with prices accessible to anyone (starting from 20 euros per night). If you are not a big fan of that kind of modern holiday village, you may consider a simple tent on the beach.
You also have sufficient recreation facilities : daily trips on the Danube channels, renting rowboats, motorboats, hydro bikes, ski jets, tennis and volley fields… in case you are bored with chilling on the beach or swimming in the sea.
